The family of a tour bali giá rẻ Bombing survivor are furious 52,000 people were able to pack into the State of Origin crowd while they had to turn hundreds of mourners away from his funeral. 
Jake Ryan, 39, was jogging with earphones on when he was hit by a train and killed in the Sicilian town of Noto on October 13.
Metricon Stadium on the [/news/gold-coast/index.html Gold Coast] offered to host the huge funeral where hundreds of Jake's friends and the community hoped to pay their respects.
The family applied for an exemption to [/news/queensland/index.html Queensland]'s 100 person capacity rule for the funeral - but were stunned to be turned down.
Instead, they were only able to hold a small funeral for close family and friends before a larger wake at the stadium on Friday.
His brother Mitch called the decision a disgrace to Jake's memory and urged the Queensland Government to increase the funeral limit.
Mr Ryan said the bumper State of Origin crowd was a 'kick in the guts' and showed where the government's priorities lie amid the coronavirus pandemic.

'They can generate revenue by getting 50,000 to the footy so they're happy to allow that, but there's no benefit to the government in allowing bigger gatherings at funerals so we weren't a priority,' he told [ ]
Wednesday night's Origin decider was the biggest sporting event anywhere in the world since the coronavirus pandemic took hold as 52,000 fans packed into Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium.
The family had previously expressed confusion around gathering limits after 30,000 fans were able to attend the AFL Grand Final in October.

To make matters worse, after Jake's funeral, the Queensland Government have now updated restrictions to allow 200 people at funerals from this week.
Mr Ryan said being messed around by the government had made the traumatic time for the family even worse.
'Then after all the time we spent trying to get it changed we come out of the funeral and hear they were increasing the limit and letting people dance again,' he said.

'Gee, thank you very much. It's disgusting the way we and other people like us have been treated.'
Family and friends remembered Jake as a 'great man' at the emotional wake, before 500 mourners gathered to farewell the footballer at the stadium.  
Mr Ryan paid tribute to his brother at the service.
'To my brother, my mate, my hero, you taught me so much about life, about myself, about footy and how to treat people,' Mr Ryan said, the [ ] reported. 
'I hope I make you proud mate, I have no doubt we will meet again. I will always love you and will always miss you.'    
Jake played Australian rules football for eleven clubs in Victoria, Queensland, and WA and was well known within the sporting community.

He had started a new job with a New York-based company Better.com and was working remotely after meeting up friends in Noto when he died.
The former Gold Coast Suns academy coach had just travelled through the US and Europe with his partner Kimberly Driedger while working for the online real estate company.
They had plans to continue travelling for many more months, including spending Christmas in Portugal before tragedy struck. 
Jake and his brother Mitch were both in Kuta in 2002 when terrorists bombed the Sari nightclub killing 202 people including 88 Australians.
Jake suffered severe stomach and foot injuries in the powerful explosion.
Just two days before his death, Jake posted about the 18th anniversary of the attacks and shared a photo of the rubble following the bombings.
'18 years... a lifetime ago... yet seems like yesterday... you see pics like this and you reflect back and I just think how lucky we were to get home.. some weren't,' he wrote.
'Our love, prayers, tour bali thoughts and support with you and your families today.'
