A family driving through a safari park in [/news/china/index.html China] has seen a black bear climbing onto their car's bonnet and stepping onto the windscreen while they were trapped inside the vehicle.
The tourists had stopped their car near the bears in the hope of taking a close look at the beasts when the animal appeared from the shrubs, according to reports.
The family of three, including a child who screamed through the event, reportedly survived the ordeal unhurt after keepers rushed over to drive the bear away.

The incident took place on Sunday at the Hainan Tropical Wildlife Park and Botanical Garden in southern China, reported [ ]. 
The park claimed that Mr Fu, the head of the family, had broken the park's rules and kynghidongduong.vn parked the car in its drive-through section, leading the event to happen.

The bear then steps onto the windscreen in a bid to make its way onto the car roof.
A child can be heard screaming and crying throughout the process, which lasts about 15 seconds.

A keeper told Hainan Broadcasting Station that bears had poor eyesight and would rush towards cars that were bright or reflecting light.
Speaking to another news website [ ], the park stressed that all tourists were banned from opening their car windows, stopping or getting out of their cars within the drive-through area.
