Rare Rock And Roll Memorabilia Goes Under The Hammer In Online Auction

A rare collection of rock and roll memorabilia is currently up for auction, including an electric guitar used by Eric Clapton which is expected to fetch up to $2 million. 
Bidding on 24 incredible items is currently underway on[ ]- a New Jersey-based auction house that specializes in selling instruments and ephemera once owned by music icons.  
Clapton's guitar is the most expensive items up for sale, but there is no shortage of other less-pricey objects to arouse the interests of collectors, including a pink feather-boa worn by Jimi Hendrix and circular eyeglasses sported by John Lennon. 
According to the auction house, Clapton's Fender Stratocaster was purchased by the rocker in 1979 and became his main stage slide guitar over the next five years. 
The British star played hits such Wonderful Tonight, Cocaine and I Shot The Sheriff on the instrument, which he also used in the recording studio. 
Bidding on the item starts at $1 million, but its estimated the guitar will sell for double that price.

However, those who don't have the cash to splash on that pricey item can also bid on a slew of other guitars up for grabs. 
Also included in the auction is a 1967 Gibson ES-345 electric guitar owned by Chuck Berry.

There is also a acoustic guitar played and signed by Jimmy Page which could collect a cool quarter of a million dollars. 
Additionally, an electric guitar owned by Soundgarden star Chris Cornell could also sell for the same amount of money.

The glasses were owned and worn by Lennon while he was living at Tittenhurst Park in the United Kingdom with partner Yoko Ono back in the 1960s. 
Lennon eventually gifted the glasses to his neighbor and friend, William Connors, who has now decided to offload the accessories. 
Beatles lovers are in for a bargain, with the starting price of the eye wear a steal at $5,000. 
Meanwhile, a hot pink feather boa owned by Jimi Hendrix, which was worn by the rocker on his the 'Are You Experienced' album cover, is estimated to fetch between $40,000 and $50,000. 
Perhaps the most unique item in the auction line up, however, is a black Ferrari owned by the late Eddie Van Halen. 
Th 2000 550 Ferrari only has 28,000 miles on its odometer, and is no doubt set to be quickly snapped up by a Van Halen fan given his death back in October. 
All items are still up for sale, with bidding set to close on Friday.
